Old-Time Gospel Instruments is a very worthwhile album. Not only is it listenable, but it is very educational as well, as it presents gospel music from a variety of traditions. Mr. Erbsen is to be commended.
You play these grand old melodies with obvious love, sensitivity and authenticity. This may be my favorite Native Ground recording to date.
