Edible Crafts for Winter Gifting
Over the years, we’ve hosted an annual holiday crafty party where guests each share a favorite activity suitable for gift-giving. We’ve collected some of our timeless favorites to share with you for this class. We’ll make herbed garlic salts, gluten free clementine “crackers”, beautiful layered lemon, cranberry and blood orange curd, date liqueur, Moroccan preserved lemon and more. $15 and you can retake the class as many times as you want!
About the teachers: The class will be taught by mother-daughter team Barbara Swell and Annie Erbsen. Barbara is the author of the best-selling cookbook The Lost Art of Pie Making Made Easy, which has sold about 500,000 copies. She’s been teaching pie-making classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School and at Log Cabin Cooking for 20 years. Annie works as a cookbook editor, teaches cooking classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School, and worked as a pastry chef in Ireland.
HOW THE CLASS WORKS: You’ll be able to see and hear us, but we won’t be able to see or hear you (so stay in those comfy sweatpants if you wish). The class will last about an hour, and we encourage you to ask questions and share comments in the chat section. You’ll also be able to download class materials, and you can replay the video as much as you want afterwards (it’ll be up for at least a month).
Register and hold your spot today! We highly recommend that you log in and get set up 10 minutes before the class starts, so you don’t miss out on any of the class time. We’ll be there to say hello and welcome everyone!
You are welcome to follow along and cook with us as we go. However, the class is structured so you can watch it live, then do later. You can replay the video as many times as you want after the broadcast for the rest of the month.
